The Aura 51 ODSEA+ represents the culmination of Fountaine Pajot’s exclusive efforts in pioneering cutting-edge technologies for low-carbon, autonomous cruising – bringing the most advanced electric solution on the market, and showcasing their commitment to environmental responsibility. Now sailors can enjoy some of the world’s most pristine locations while helping to preserve these natural environments.

The Berret-Racoupeau designed Aura 51 marks a new era for the Fountaine Pajot shipyard, both with her advanced renewable technology, and enhanced deck layout providing even greater space and comfort.

Advanced renewable energy technologies

The Aura 51’s advanced energy management solutions begin with a large surface area of solar panels, seamlessly integrated to maintain the sleek lines of the coachroof. This innovative approach enables the generation of nearly 2000 Watts of renewable energy, a staggering five times more than similar yachts equipped with solar panels, providing energy production all day long.

The Aura 51 ODSEA+ goes further by pairing solar power with Smart Electric© motors powered by two powerful LFP lithium battery banks, the most stable technology on the market. An advanced energy management system lets you monitor and adjust production and expenditure from a single console.

Autonomous comfort at sea

Producing renewable energy while sailing or at anchor is achieved with solar panels, as well as options for hydroelectric power created by propellers while under sail, and wind turbines installed at the stern.

The stored solar, wind and water power can provide autonomy for an extended stay at anchor, while a combustion powered generator ensures the battery pack maintains a minimum charge.

A popular feature aboard the Aura 51 Smart Electric is the extra-wide opening between the salon and the aft cockpit – facilitating service and communication from the galley.

The aft cockpit is open and welcoming with a large table and L-shaped cushioned sofa, with additional bench seating and day bed lounger perfect for socializing in shaded comfort.

Aura 51 ODSEA+

The sweeping salon offers nearly 7-ft of headroom near the entrance, and boasts an abundance of natural light with large windows on three sides, along with two large skylights.

The finishes throughout are a clean and modern blend of warm neutrals with white cabinets and counters. Modern sofas and bench seating create a home-like welcoming atmosphere.

The Aura 51 ODSEA+ electric specs provide for a choice of 4 different cabin configurations. The 4-cabin Maestro with 1 or 2 owner’s suites, the 5-cabin Maestro with 1 massive owner’s suite in the port hull, or a 6-cabin version. Each cabin has its own ensuite bath, including the 6-cabin version – a first on the catamaran market for a 51-foot model.
