The smallest yacht in the Bali Catamaran lineup, the 38-foot BALI Catsmart disrupts the rules and sets new standards in technology, design and comfort. This compact, yet mighty cat boasts many of the BALI signature innovations of her larger sister ships, such as a solid forward cockpit with lounge area and dining table, along with the popular tilting “garage-style” door to aft.
The benefits achieved through innovation are on display at every turn when aboard the BALI Catsmart. A notable feature is the dual helm stations positioned on the port and starboard aft transoms that serve to centralize sail controls and simplify close maneuvering.
With an optimized sail area and a boom lowered to almost flush with the coachroof, the BALI Catsmart’s low center of effort results in great ease of handling and sailing sensations and the mainsail is easily accessible. In addition, BALI specifies the use of quality deck equipment and the finest rigging suppliers and manufacturers that will satisfy the most demanding of yachtsmen.
Inside, the forward-facing galley occupies the full width, and the saloon and cockpit area are surprisingly spacious, comparable in feel and volume to larger catamarans. The large tilting rear door opens the saloon to the aft cockpit creating a wide open indoor/outdoor space for al fresco dining and gatherings, while the sliding side windows accentuate the openness, and allow for cooling breezes.
To aft, a platform connects the two hulls with a large bench seat, providing cushioned seating along with additional storage below.
The comfortable cabins are accessed via port and starboard steps from the salon. Large side windows with opening ports provide ample light and ventilation.
Those choosing to buy BALI Catsmart can select from 3 cabin configurations: 2-cabin/2-bath with spacious owner’s suites with private baths in each hull, 3-cabin/2-bath with owner’s suite in the starboard hull, or a 4-cabin version with 2 shared baths that’s popular with yacht charter guests.
