Introducing the 53-foot Dufour 530 Smart Electric from Felci Yacht Design. With the authentic racer hull of Dufour’s Performance range, and the features and scale of their Grand Large line, this sleek and powerful sailing yacht offers exhilarating sailing in supreme comfort. Distinctive in both performance and aesthetics, the 530 is a head-turner from stem to stern. 

This hybrid Smart Electric version pairs advanced renewable energy production with an innovative electric propulsion system to create a comfortable, quiet and eco-friendly cruising solution that’s true to the brand’s vision.

Sustainable cruising solution

The Dufour 530 Smart Electric incorporates a hybrid electric motor and a bank of lithium-ion batteries. The battery bank powers the electric motor, and also serves as an energy source for all onboard systems. 

Solar and hydroelectric power is stored in the battery bank to provide energy systems while at anchor, while an engine-powered generator serves as a backup to maintain a minimum charge. An advanced energy management system lets you monitor and adjust energy production and expenditure from a convenient display console.

Ideal customisation

The designers of the Dufour 530 electric monohull have taken customization to the next level with a specialized version to meet your cruising needs: an Easy version for simple maneuvering, an Ocean version for traditional handling, and a Performance version for racing sailors. 

The outdoor areas on the electric 530 yacht are spacious and feature-packed. The aft fold out swim platform is perfect for watersports, while also serving as a work area when using the outdoor galley with sink, plancha grill and countertop space.

The wide side decks are accessed via safe integrated steps that make movement fore and aft a breeze. The innovative cockpit bimini provides a large area of shade, with plenty of headroom for and gaps in the top for clearance when accessing the side steps.

Below, the surprisingly spacious salon makes efficient use of the wide beam, and is well-lit due to the hatches, skylights and side windows. 

Ample headroom throughout and high-end finishes give an instant air of quality and sophistication. The galley is thoughtfully designed with a large modern upright refrigerator, and plenty of workspace and stowage. 

The forward owner’s cabin is inviting and bright, thanks to large hull windows, an extra large overhead skylight window and 2 hatches.

The Dufour 530 electric yacht offers four layout options, all with the popular and efficient forward galley feature. Choose from the 3-, 4-, 5- or 6-cabin version to suit your cruising lifestyle.
