Now Fountaine Pajot has made this popular cruiser available with their exclusive cutting-edge technologies for low-carbon, autonomous cruising – presenting the Astréa 42 ODSEA+ electric catamaran.

Building on the success of the Saona 47, the Astréa 42 Electric offers many of the same features and amenities as her larger sisters – and now boasts the most advanced hybrid electric solution on the market, showcasing the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

Advanced renewable energy solutions

Producing renewable energy at sea is achieved with solar panels, as well as options for hydroelectric
power created by reverse-spinning propellers while under sail. The Astréa 42 ODSEA+ pairs this energy production with Smart Electric© motors and two powerful LFP lithium battery banks, the most stable technology on the market.

The battery-stored solar and water power can provide autonomy for your stay at anchor, while a combustion powered generator ensures the battery banks maintain a minimum charge. An advanced energy management system lets you monitor and adjust production and expenditure from a single console.

Outdoor living at its best

At just under 42-feet, the Astréa 42 ODSEA+ is manageable in size yet provides ample space and thoughtful lounge areas to make her a live-aboard dream. Superior handling, safety and seaworthiness making her a well-rounded vessel for weekend cruising and extended sailing alike.

Your perfect spot, in or out of the sun, is always in reach whether relaxing on the expansive roof sunbed, lounging on the foredeck cushioned seating or enjoying the shade on the cushioned double lounger in the aft cockpit.

The large cockpit dining table with wraparound seating, and the convenient outdoor plancha grill round out the superb outdoor experience.

Impressive interior volume is coupled with a careful balance of social spaces and privacy to achieve a masterpiece of fine living at sea. Step into the salon and be bathed in sunlight from the 360° windows and skylight. The sizable U-shaped galley with double sinks, easy-access countertop oven and impressive countertop work space makes feeding your crowd a breeze.

The Astréa 42 electric specs provide for 2 impressive cabin layouts to suit your cruising style. The 3-cabin/3-bath Maestro version offers a master suite filling the starboard hull, and 2 double cabins to port, while the Quatuor version offers an efficient 4 en-suite cabin layout for the larger crew.
